Challa: This ‘Uri’ soundtrack is all about pride, valour, and triumph

New Delhi [India], Dec 24 (ANI): From hard-hitting dialogues to daring stunts, intensity and aggression, the first song of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ has it all!

Titled as ‘Challa,’ the power-packed song showcases the hardships of soldiers while training for the surgical strike. It shows the eight-day countdown to the strike and how Vicky Kaushal, an army officer, trains to protect his country. The song also features Mohit Raina, Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, and Kirti Kulhari.

High on patriotism, the track witnesses Vicky leading a team of soldiers, preparing them for the surgical strike with the emotion of avenging the killings of their fellow comrades during the Uri attack on September 18, 2016.

Crooned by Romy, Vivek Hariharan, and Shashwat Sachdev, ‘Challa’ will surely pump in energy and awaken the Indian in you. The music of the song is given by Shashwat Sachdev and the uplifting lyrics are penned by Kumaar.

Starring Paresh Rawal as National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and Yami Gautam as a no-nonsense interrogation officer, the movie showcases the instances of what went down during the Indian army’s surgical strikes in Pakistan following the attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri town.

The 2016 surgical strike was initiated on September 29 after four militants attacked the Indian army at Uri on September 18 and killed 19 unarmed soldiers.
