Chandrababu acts like Chameleon: Kavitha

Hyderabad: TRS MP Kavitha today termed Telugu Desam Chief and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu as the president of ‘chameleons national association’ for his double standards.

Addressing a meeting at Jagitial, she accused Naidu of hatching a fresh conspiracy in Telangana and joining hands with his arch rival, the Congress party. She attributed his changing tack after showing enmity for decades by joining hands with the Congress for the Assembly polls in Telangana. This is purely an act of chameleon of changing colours and Chandrababu is trying to deceive people of Telangana and AP in the name of elections, she chided. Kavitha informed that the TDP chief first lambasted at the BJP in 2002 and joined the BJP led Narendra Modi government 2014. When he was in the Congress, Naidu made derogatory remarks against then chief minister NT Rama Rao, but joined the TDP later.

Upon marrying NTR’s daughter Bhuvaneswhari, Naidu dethroned NTR to get the CM post which was acknowledged as cheating, she explained. Even chameleon may feel shy to see the TDP Chief for changing colours and tacks, Kavitha said. The people of the state should be wary of Chandrababu who wrote 30 letters against our projects to the centre. Teach the congress, TDP alliance a fitting lesson in the elections, by giving votes to the ruling party she appealed.

She also accused UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi of doing favours for AP by addressing a public meeting in Medchal. This is ridiculous to talk for AP and against Telangana which got 20 national awards in various sectors, she said. Sonia did not bother to support the cause of Telangana issues when the TRS MPs staged protests in Parliament to implement bifurcation promises.
