Chase away Chandrababu & Congress for sabotaging projects in State: KCR tells people

Hyderabad: Intensifying his onslaught, TRS supremo and Caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today exhorted the people of old Palamur district to continue their fight for progress and chase away his AP counterpart and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu for seeking votes after deserting the district that pushed migration.

Along with local candidate and caretaker minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy, KCR launched a broadside against his bête noire stating that Chandrababu Naidu miserably failed to develop the Palamur district after adopting it and now “shamelessly” coming for votes. “Should we spare Chandrababu, chief minister of the neighboring State, who wants to enter our houses to hit and run away”, he said. He also said Naidu encouraged migration of people of Palamur during his stint and now the TRS regime in four-and-a-half years could check the problem. The migrant Palamur people are returning home now as the government took major steps like reviving the lakes, supporting fish development, giving safe waters, crop investment of Rs 8,000 per acre, Rs 5 lakh farmers insurance, KCR Kits and pensions, he claimed. “I earnestly appeal to the people of Jadcherla and old Palamur district to chase away the TDP Chief for forging unholy electoral alliance with his arch rival the Congress, which hatched conspiracies against the irrigation projects, he alleged.

The TRS supremo slammed Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy and Harshavardhan Reddy for filing cases against Palamur irrigation project. “We have achieved Telangana State after 14 years of long drawn struggle and almost completed the projects in old Palamur though the Congress and the TDP in the name of elections have hatched a conspiracy against the infant State, he charged.
Stating that his government kept its promises and vowed to increase pension to Rs 2016, physically disabled pension to Rs 3016 and unemployment allowance to Rs 3016, KCR also promised that if the people vote for all the 14 MLAs of the TRS in the district to power, he will take steps to bring under irrigation 20 lakh acres as already 8 lakh acres were irrigated so far. “Our aim was to complete the projects to irrigate one crore acres on retaining power and I hope that the people will vote for progress and welfare, he added.
The Chief Minister also said in the next term, TRS government will implement the health profile scheme of all citizens of Telangana. The government, which had successfully implementing the Kanti Velugu scheme, also plans to conduct eye surgeries in January after returning to power as well as deploy medical teams for conducting dental as well as ENT screening for all the citizens shortly.

Making the announcement during the Praja Ashirwada Sabha held at Jedcherla today, the Chief Minister said soon after the elections, he will constitute ENT and dental teams to conduct screenings for problems related to ear, nose, tongue and dental on the lines of Kanti Velugu eye screening camps. “We will prepare health profile of every citizen of the State, including his/her blood group,” he added.

“Chandrababu Naidu adopted the district but failed to take up any development program during his tenure as Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh. Since the separate State formation, he has been attempting to obstruct the Palamuru Lift Irrigation Scheme and seeking votes from the same citizens of Palamuru region,” he added.
