Circle inspector from Nalgonda goes missing after surrendering his service revolver

Nalgonda: L Venkateshwarulu, the Circle inspector of Town-II of Nalgonda went missing on Friday after surrendering his service revolver and official phone in police station.

His personal mobile was also switched off.

It is said that the inspector is facing work pressure as there were two murders happened in his police station limits. Also the missing of the inspector from Nalgonda gains significance in the wake of murder of Nalgonda Municipal Chairperson Laxmi’s husband Boddupalli Srinivas on January 24.

He has wife and two children who stay in Hyderabad for the purpose of education, and the inspector lives in a rented house in Amulya colony in the town.

Rambabu, the cousin of the circle inspector has met Superintendent of Police D V Srinivas Rao and requested him to take immediate necessary steps to trace Venkateshwarulu.
