Congress regime ruined community professions: TRS

TRS MLA V Srinivas Goud today lashed out at the Congress leaders for destroying community professions in Telangana State.

Talking to the media here today, Srinivas Goud alleged that the Congress regime had dealt a huge blow to the Goud community then and now shedding crocodile tears and showing lip sympathy on their condition. The Congress leaders are habituated to pretend to have love on the backward classes, he charged. Slamming the Congress leaders for enacting dramas, the TRS leader reminded that the the former had banned toddy shops in Hyderabad and tried to do so in other districts during their regime.

Where they have gone when the previous government imposed ban on toddy sale, he asked. The TRS Government has reopened the toddy shops to ensure that the Goud community gets remuneration for better living, Srinivas Goud said. He also said the TRS government will supply hybrid seed for palm and palmyra trees. He also faulted the Centre for allotting meagre funds for welfare of BCs. The funds so allotted were less than what the TRS Government has allotted to the weavers’ community, he claimed.

The State government was making efforts for the development of the SC, ST, BC and Minorities in Telangana State, he added. The people will teach the Congress a fitting les (NSS)son if they failed to mend their ways of putting spokes in the way of development in the State, he warned.
