Hyderabad: ESI Labourers can now onwards can get health services and treatment in any hospitals including corporate, according to Home and Labour Minister N Narsimha Reddy.
Reddy asked the officials concerned to take all measures to avoid any sort of inconvenience to the ESI labourers and workers in the state. After chairing a ESI Board meeting that took several decisions to talk to the centre to strengthen the hospitals and provide improved services, he said that a team will be sent to Delhi for the purpose. It was decided to convince the corporate and big hospitals to extend health services to these workers he said. Other decisions taken include 15 more ESI Dispensaries will be started, steps to provide super specialty health care, pay bills on time and take treatment in any hospitals and the Centre has decided to provide health services to those above 40 years.
