Coverage comparison of Jio and Airtel

The Mukesh Ambani backed company was first launched in September 2016, by rolling out a six-month promotional offer of free voice and data, which helped it to attract millions of users and within no time gained millions of subscribers. India has never before seen such an explosion in data use as Jio forced its competitors to bring down the data prices by over 95 per cent.

Reliance Jio’s launch has definitely disrupted the telecom business with it’s the amazing data plans, it has created “a world record” by crossing the 16 million subscriber mark in its first month of operations. Reliance Jio made several records not only in India but across the globe and crossed 130 million customers mark in one year of its operations.

Reliance is the company that set revolution for mobile services in India back in 2002 when they launched CDMA sim with a handset that offers night calling free one of the best cheap tariff plans at that time. This JIO plan is the same which has revolutionized the High-Speed Network in the entire nation by giving free calling and messaging service and charging for only 4g data and that too at a reasonable price.

Shares of Indian telecom service providers drastically fell after Reliance Jio Ltd stepped in the market. Since two years Jio has made its competitive companies fall drastically and only some operators, other than JIO are surviving with just some minimum profit. Reliance Jio can’t stop now. The latest wireless statistics shows the emerging dominance of Reliance Jio in the Indian telecom market.
