Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, invoked P.D.Act against Kethavath Heeralal, a drug offender of Malakpet Police Station on July 26. The Malakpet Police arrested the accused on May 21 and remanded him to judicial custody. The detention order was executed on him on July 27 in Chanchalguda Central Jail here.
Police said Kethavath Heeralal, 23, residing near vegetable market, NTR Nagar, LB Nagar, has been peddling narcotic drugs among innocent people under the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate endangering the lives of youth and causing irreparable damage to their body organs, including central nervous system thereby crippling mental and physical health of drug addicts.
