CPI Faults TDP. BJP Dramas: Demand Justice to AP, TS

CPI national secretary Dr K Narayana has alleged that the state will achieve hairless heads (bodigundlu) if TDP and BJP enacted dramas in regard to doing justice to the state.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Narayana said that CPI was ready to come to centre on special status issue but made it clear that they will not come to beg the centre for special package. He said that people were expressing severe unhappiness over allocating meager funds to the state by the centre and all political parties were demanding the centre to do justice to the state.

People feel that the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has to convene all-party meeting in this regard, he said and welcomed the decision of Chandrbabu of taking a decision to conduct all-party meeting. Narayana also made it clear that the CPI will not participate in all-party meeting if state government proposes to go to Delhi to ask the centre to give funds under special package. “We only come to Delhi to demand the centre on special status to the state”, he said and alleged that the state will get only hairless head if TDP and BJP enacts dramas in regard to special status to the state.

Finding fault with the Andhra Pradesh state BJP leaders for comparing the people of Andhra Pradesh state to ‘hair’, CPI leader opined that the BJP leaders insulted the people. It was not correct for BJP leaders to speak in an insulting manner instead of mounting pressure on the centre to do justice to the state, he pointed out.

Opining that the central government also did injustice to Telangana state, Narayana suggested Telangana leaders to come along with Andhra Pradesh state to wage fight on centre. Narayana opined that the TDP was the party to move no confidence motion against centre first and asked Telangana MPs to support the motion.

He alleged that Congress party’s corruption was ‘retail’ one, and BJP’s was ‘whole sale’ one and said that the BJP, which came to power assuring the people to ensure corruption-free governance, too was walking in the path of Congress party. (NSS)
