Former Union minister and MP Bandaru Dattatraya today welcomed the NIA Special Court judgment acquitting all the five accused in Mecca Masjid blast case.
“The judgment is a slap on the face of then UPA government led by Congress party, which foisted cases with fictitious charges stating that there was saffron terrorism”. He alleged that the Congress party had deliberately indulged in propaganda about saffron terrorism and the Nampally court verdict rejected the baseless allegations of the UPA government.
Dattatraya demanded that Sonia Gandhi and Congress president Rahul Gandhi should tender apology to the people for their baseless allegations. (NSS)
