Diggy feels Komati won’t defect to TRS

Reacting to Nalognda MLA and former minister  Komatireddy Venkat Reddy’s criticism on TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy a couple of days ago, AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana Congress Affairs Digvijaya Singh has said he doesn’t think Komatireddy will join the ruling TRS party.

Speaking to the media after landing in the  city on Sunday, Digvijay Singh said the differences in the TPCC will disappear soon. Alleging that the BJP at the Centre and TRS in the State were not working as expected by the people, Digvijay said both parties have miserably failed to fulfill the assurances made by them on the eve of the elections.

Exuding confidence that the Congress would win in Goa, Manipur and Punjab, Digvijay said the Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance would emerge victorious in Uttar Pradesh too. Terming the violent incidents in Tamil Nadu Assembly on Saturday as unfortunate, Digvijay said the election of new Chief Minister in Tamil Nadu was happy news. (NSS)
