Even as investigations in the drug racket is briskly progressing, a political war on twitter triggered off between the Congress and TRS.
AICC General Secretary in charge of Telangana Congress, Digvijay Singh made a controversial and sensational disclosure targeting Chief Minister KCR’s son and IT Minister K. T. Rama Rao by alleging involvement of his “influential friends” in the drug racket.
The senior Congress leader tweeted “Huge drug scam in Telangana. Influential friends of TRS heir-apparent are involved. Let’s see whether they would be prosecuted or protected”.
Responding to strongly to it, KTR advised Digvijay Singh that it was time for him to retire gracefully from politics and do something worth his age”. KTR’s tweet read “You have completely lost it Sir. Time to retire gracefully and do something worth your age. Glad that you have at last learnt to spell Telangana correctly”. (NSS).
