Drunken Driving: Hyderabad police dismisses rumours about breath analyzer

Hyderabad: Traffic Police of Hyderabad City claimed that the rumours spread on social media expressing doubts about the malfunctioning of breath analyzer are wrong. Addl. Commissioner of Traffic Police, Mr. Anil Kumar told that Syed Zaheeruddin Qadri was examined by Sultan Bazar Police through breath analyzer and found to be in drunken condition.

It may be mentioned that after a case was booked against Mr. Qadri, he went to OGH and got himself examined. The doctors of OGH issued the medical certificate saying that he was not in a drunken condition.

However, Mr. Anil Kumar claimed that the medical certificate is wrong. He also said that a letter is being issued to Superintendent of OGH to conduct an inquiry. Mr. Anil Kumar also alleged that medical examination was not done properly. He said that the breath analyzer is the latest gadget and its functioning is beyond doubt.
