Hyderabad: Du-ba-Du Matrimonial Alliance program was organized by Siasat Urdu Daily in collaboration with Seeratuzzahra Committee at Devdi Inayat Jung Bahadur, Mandi Meeralam on 26th August for the benefit of Shia boys and girls. Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily presided over the function.
In his speech, Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan told that much is being said about the present situation of the Muslim community through sermons and also through media in order to save community from deteriorating values and spendthriftness. He mentioned that personalities like Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily have been campaigning against unnecessary expenditure in marriages. He said that there is a need to avoid false pomp and pride in order to make marriages easier. He advised the parents and guardians to celebrate marriages in Masajid and Ashurkhanas to save unnecessary expenditures.
Maulana Ali Murtuza while quoting the traditions of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) said that he was sent into this world to teach good moral character. Quoting Hazrat Imam Husain, Maulana said that the departure of Hazrat Imam Husain from Madina was with an objective of reforming the character of the Ummah.
Mr. Syed Ashraf Husain told that in order to inculcate good character, better training is essential. He lamented that our community is producing doctors, Engineers, officers but there is a need to inculcate good morals among them. He also said that for the successful matrimonial life, parents should give good training to their children.
Mr. Ali Raza, Chairman of Seeratuz zohra committee thanked Siasat Urdu Daily for organizing this program. He informed that parents and guardians came from other states and foreign countries as well.
Mr. Syed Khalid Mohiuddin Asad, Program Coordinator played a key role in making arrangements of the program.
