Du-ba-Du: There is no place for song and dance in Islamic marriages, says Mr. Zahid Ali Khan

Hyderabad: Mr. Zahid Ali Khan Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily told that the burning problem of the Muslim community is educating the girl child and arranging her marriage. Right from childhood to marriage, parents face a lot of difficulties.

He was addressing 86th Du-ba-Du Matrimonial Alliances Program held at Red Rose Function Hall adjacent to Haj House, Nampally on 16th September.

Seated on the dais were Dr. Shaik Siyadat Ali, Mr. Meer Anwaruddin, Mr. Nazimuddin, Mr. Ilyas Basha and others.

The program began with the recitation of the Quranic verses by Hafiz Imran Ahmed. Dr. Ayub Haideri presented Naat-e-Shareef.

Continuing his address, Mr. Zahid Ali Khan told that Islam does not permit songs and dances in marriages. It is spendthriftness. If the Muslims make extravagant expenses in marriages, how can they become a rich community in the future? The Muslims should resolve to boycott such marriages. If they do so, they would be able to concentrate on the education of their children. He mentioned that NRIs are also worried about the marriages of their children. Some of the NRIs organized Du-ba-Du programs in certain parts of Saudi Arabia as well.

Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily monitored Du-ba-Du Program and exchanged views with parents and guardians. They congratulated him for arranging such programs.

Mr. Ilyas Basha told that if parents and guardians follow Islamic principles in marriages, the couples will lead pleasant lives. The sons of Mr. Syed Hameeduddin, Chairman of Red Rose Group, Mr. Syed Vicaruddin, Mr. Syed Imranuddin, Mr. Syed Irfanuddin, Mr. Syed Zeeshanuddin who are Managing Directors and Mr. Mohammed Salahuddin Ghouri, Manager of Red Rose Function Hall thanked Siasat Urdu Daily for arranging the program.

Mr. Meer Anwaruddin, Mr. Shahid Husain, Mr. Hayat Husain Habeeb were available at Engineering Counter whereas Dr. Siyadat Ali, Ms. Mehroz and Dr. Durdana managed medicine counter. Dr. Nazim Ali and Sania looked after graduation counter.

It may be mentioned that in this program, the matrimonial alliance of Sheik Irfan, a resident of Dammam was finalized with Fouzia Sultana of Nizamabad.

Khadeeja Sultana, Fareeda Begum and Farzana made arrangement for the program which ended at 5 p.m.
