Agartala: A 4.8 magnitude earthquake is reported to hit the India-Bangladesh border region along with hitting Tripura on morning today.
According to the Meteorological Department official “The quake hit Tripura and Bangladesh at 10.20 a.m.”
Agartala’s Disaster management control Sarat Das told, “There is no report of any damage in Tripura and adjoining areas” adding that the tremor lasted 15-20 seconds.
