Applications for Haj 2016 will be released on 14th January at 11 AM at Haj House in Nampally.
Under the Reserved Category ‘A’, pilgrims of 70 years and above and under category ‘B’, the fourth timers will be selected without Qurrah and Qurrah (Draw of lots) for selection of rest of the Haj pilgrims would be held any time between 15th and 23rd March.
Telangana State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof. S. A. Shukoor said that the Haj Forms would be accepted till February 8. The Applicants would have to remit an amount of Rs. 300 per head in SBI or the Union Bank of India, he said and added that the applicants should possess the International Passport having validity till 10th March and the Passports should be digital printed and machine readable.
He further said that the Telangana State Haj committee would make arrangements for the pilgrims of Andhra Pradesh Haj Pilgrims. He said ‘This year the Haj is fixed on 10th September.
ACB Director General A. K. Khan will release the forms while Minorities Welfare Department Secretary Syed Omer Jaleel will be the Chief Guest. Minorities Welfare Department Director Mohammed Jalaluddin Akber and TSMFC MD B. Shafiullah and other officials will also participate in the function. (INN)
