New Delhi: The CBSE and ICSE have announced dates for conducting examinations to Class X and XII students.
As per the scheduled dates, from March 3 the CBSE will be conducting examinations for Class X and XII, while for Class X the exams will end on April 4, for Class XII it will end on April 12.
On the other hand, Class X students of ICSE will have examinations from February 26 to March 28, while for Class XII students the examinations are scheduled to be held from February 7 to April 12.
However, the date of declaration of results are not announced by the CBSE and ICSE.
Gerry Arathoon, Chief Secretary and executive of CISCE said that, for ICSE examination, instead of 35, the pass mark would be 33%. The Pass mark for ISC examination would be 35% instead of the present 40%.
He further said that “Changes in pass marks for ICSE and the ISC examinations will be effective from the examination year 2018 onwards, not from 2019.”
