Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner Sandeep Shandilya has said all flyovers, including Outer Ring Road under Cyberabad, Hyderabad, Rachakonda police commissionerates will be closed on December 31 night.
Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Shandilya said permission has been given for new Year-eve celebrations up to 1 am only. He also warned that stringent action will be taken against those behaved indecently towards women. The police would act seriously against drunk and drive issue and 120 teams will be deployed with breath analyzers. Vehicles will be seized if driven with overspeed, he added.
The Cyberabad Police Commissioner said the police would deal with eve-teasers and drunk drivers very sternly. As usual, the vehicular traffic would be diverted on the NTR Marg, Necklace Road and Upper Tank Bund from 10 pm to 2 am on the New Year eve.
