Former Speaker of Assembly Ramachandra Reddy passes away

Hyderabad: Former speaker of united AP Assembly, Mr. P. Ramachandra Reddy breathed his last in the evening of Saturday. He was 89 years old. He was elected to Assembly 5 times.

He was born on 3rd December 1929 in a family of Agriculturalists at Kondapur Mandal of Medak District. He also served as chairman of Industrial Development Corporation. During the tenure of office of Dr. M. Channa Reddy as CM of AP, Mr. P. Chandra Reddy was elected as Speaker of the Assembly. In Mr. Janardhan Reddy’s cabinet, he was minister for Industries.

Mr. ESL Narasimhan, Governor of AP and Telangana and Mr. KCR, CM of TS paid rich tribute to the departed soul.
