PARIS: Kylian Mbappe, the French teenage sensation will be donating his entire earnings from the FIFA World Cup 2018 towards charity.
According to media reports, the 19-year-old roughly earned about $22,300 each game in the tournament, and a bonus of US$350,000 for winning the final World Cup trophy on Sunday (Jul 15) which adds up to over $500,000 (Rs 3.42 crore) is donating the earnings to Premiers de Cordée association which conducts sporting events for children with disabilities.
The youngest French player has been associated with the charity organization since 2017.

Mbappe born to a Christian father and a Muslim mother and grew up in Bondy which is one of the French banlieues, or “places with large, working-class, nonwhite communities, synonymous with riots and social strife, thought of as breeding grounds for crime and terrorism,” as The New York Times puts it.
Father Wilfried, who has Cameroonian roots, was a local football and mother, Fayza of Algerian origin was a professional handball player.
