Hyderabad: The family member of the deceased patient narrated their experience at Global Hospital and leveled serious allegations against the hospital staff.
Talking to media persons, son of the deceased said that days ago, his mother was so healthy that she walked into the hospital on her own. Hospital had admitted his mother into the general ward despite slight complication in breathing. Three days later, the hospital had decided to admit his mother to MICU and claimed that the patient is critical.
Claiming corruption in the hospital, he said that they were forced to pay money to hospital staff even to meet the patient.
He further leveled allegations against one of the doctors at the hospital. He alleged that the staff at the hospital had asked him to pay Rs. 3 lakh to some unknown person. When he came back after making an arrangement of the money, doctors had declared that his mother is no more, he added.
Talking about the swine flu infection, he said that his mother catches the flu when she was kept in the ward along with the flu patient.
Commenting on the attitude of the hospital staff, he alleged that religious feeling exists among the doctors.
It may be mentioned that the patient had died during the treatment in the hospital. This incident had triggered violence on the premises of the hospital.
It may be noted that on Wednesday, Saifabad police arrested four persons for vandalism at the hospital.
