Gurugram: Two youths arrested for raping woman

Gurugram: Police has arrested two youths on Friday for allegedly raping a 23-yr-old woman in DLF-2.
The crime reportedly took place on 5 November when the accused Rajvir Singh brought the victim from Delhi to Gurgaon and later they were joined by another man who took her to a guest house DLF-2.
The victim who is originally from Mizoram has filed a written complaint in Vasant Kunj PS on 8 November against the two accused and said she was threatened with dire consequences by the accused Rajvir if she resisted him.
The Police filed a zero FIR which was further forwarded to Gurgaon police on Thursday who lodged an FIR on Friday.
“Afterwards, I became almost unconscious. Then Singh took me towards Delhi in his car, bought some medicine from a store and fed me. He left me outside my home in Vasant Kunj and fled. My friends and relatives helped me to approach police.”
The Gurgaon Police have filed case under sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC against Singh.
Inspector Sudeep Kumar, SHO of DLF-2 police station said, “We’ve registered the case and started an investigation. We’re trying to contact the woman and after recording her statement, further action will be taken.”
