Hyderabad: Moon was not sighted in India and Pakistan and hence Eid-al-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, 16th June.
However, in Gulf Countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain etc Eid-al-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, 15th June.
Apart from Gulf Countries, Eid will be celebrated in South-East Asian countries like, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore etc on 15th June.
In India too, at certain places, it was reported that Moon was sighted and hence Kerala, Mangalore, Bhatkal, Udipi, Kozhikode are celebrating Eid on Friday.
There were no reports of sighting the Moon in Hyderabad and other parts of India. Hence, the Central Moon Sighting Committee of Hyderabad and Shahi Imam of Delhi declared that in India, Eid-al-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, 16th June.
