Washington: After hearing that PM Narendra Modi is estranged from his wife, US President Donald Trump reportedly had joked and said, “Ah, I think I can set him up with somebody”, The Quint reported.
According to the report, Trump allegedly made this joke in June 2017.
It may be mentioned that Prime Minister Modi had left his village and wife shortly after his marriage.
Earlier, Trump had reportedly unintentionally pronounced Nepal as “nipple” and Bhutan as “button”.
Mr. Trump seemed confused about the geographical locations of these countries between India and China.
Apart from mispronouncing, Trump allegedly calls leaders of the world at awkward hours without thinking about the difference in the time zones.
