The TPCC has decided to discuss and give presentation on Metro Rail project on Sunday at Gandhi Bhavan.
In a pressnote here today, TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that Hyderabad Metro Rail Project was conceived, designed, sanctioned and significant work completed during previous Congress government. He clarified Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who have not contributed to Hyderabad Metro, were planning a big inauguration program to take credit. In fact, Metro got delayed by three years and Rs 3,500 crore excess cost was because of KCR’s objections on alignment. In addition to what Congress government sanctioned, the TRS government sanctioned single extra kilometre. (NSS)
