Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a 6-year-old boy was brutally thrashed for breaking chalk. This incident took place in Moti Nagar, Sanathnagar.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, the boy was beaten up by his mother’s beau. After the incident, police arrested accused, Prithviraj (28).
As per the details furnished by police, victim’s mother who was living with her two children in Moti Nagar after losing lost her husband a year ago had developed a relationship with Prithviraj. He is a resident of Babbuguda, Moti Nagar.
Talking about the case, Mr. K. Krishna, Sanathnagar Sub-Inspector told that child accidentally broke a chalk piece on Monday. After this, Prithviraj started beating the child using plastic wire.
After listening to boy’s cry, neighbours rescued the child and informed the police. Police arrested Prithviraj.
It may be mentioned that child was being beaten without any reason. Police registered a case under sections of the IPC and JJ Act. Later, the accused was sent to judicial custody.
