Hyderabad: After Charminar, another historical monument suffers damage

Hyderabad: After Charminar, another historical monument of Hyderabad suffered damage due to heavy rains.

According to the report published in Telangana Today, a portion of the 200-year-old structure, Moula Ali Kaman collapsed on Monday evening.

At around 4:45 p.m., a portion of the structure fell on the vehicles passing through the ‘kaman’. In the incident, some of the vehicles were also damaged. Luckily, no one got injuries.

After the incident, traffic police came into action and took precautionary measures. Police stopped vehicular movement on the road.

Talking to newsmen, Mr. Hamed Hussain Jaffery, President of Telangana Shia Youth Conference alleged that no sincere efforts are being made to preserve the historic structure.

It may be mentioned that the Moula Ali Kaman is the gateway to Moula Ali Dargah.

It may be recalled that last month, a minaret of Charminar towards South-Western side had suffered damage.
