Hyderabad: Car catches fire at Amberpet, traffic Police busy in collecting fines

Hyderabad: In the busy area of Musarambagh of Malakpet, a car caught fire at Amberpet road which disrupted the flow of traffic in the afternoon of Wednesday.

Police personnel was seen collecting fines of traffic challans in the same area. They neglected the congestion of traffic.

According to the details of the accident, Rajendra Chari, a resident of Durga Nagar of Amberpet area had bought a second hand Maruti Omni car a few days back. He took this car for repairs to a mechanic’s shop located at Ambedkar Nagar on Wednesday afternoon. The mechanic was busy in welding the car. Meanwhile, due to the leakage in the petrol tank, fire broke out. The mechanic removed the car from his shed and placed it on the road. The accident took place near the RTA office of Malakpet East Zone. The local residents informed police control room and after some time, police and fire fighting personnel reached the spot and put off the fire.
