Hyderabad: In an incident which took place in Gurugovind Colony which falls under Jagadgirigutta Police Station, a three-and-half-year-old boy drowned after falling in a water pit which was dug up in front of his house.
According to the report published in Telangana Today, talking about the case, Mr. K. Narsimha Reddy, Inspector of Police, Jagadgirigutta told that Syed Wajid stepped out of his house to play. When he did not return home, his father, Ghouse Pasha started searching. He along with family members and neighbours after searching for around four hours, found the boy in the water pit. The depth of the pit is around 3 feet.
After getting the information, police reached the spot. The body of the boy was handed over to relatives after conducting postmortem at Gandhi Hospital Morgue.
Police registered a case and started investigations.
