Hyderabad to get 3 more government hospitals

Hyderabad: Keeping in view the rising population of Hyderabad city and extension of city limits, government has decided to establish 3 more government superspeciality hospitals in Hyderabad limits. Officials have been directed to search for suitable lands for the three new hospitals. Following the direction of chief minister, officials have sprung into action.

Presently Osmania Hospital, Gandhi Hospital and King Kothi Hospital are run by the government. Representation should be made to establish hospital in thickly populated old city areas which are inhabited by a large number of poor people who can’t afford to go to private hospitals for treatment.

The announcement by the government is promising but now it is the responsibility of elected public representatives to avail the opportunity in the best possible way and make representation to establish the hospital in old city areas which lack proper medical facilities.
