No Metro Rail Service for Old City?

Pillar and other infrastructure needed for Metro Rail Service was constructed in many parts of Hyderabad except Old City.

The question arises, “Why Metro Rail Service is not yet made available in Old City of Hyderabad?” Is it due to the vested interest of some elements who don’t want to lose their valuable properties due to the service?
