Hyderabad: Miscreants attack restaurant owner for not serving “Biryani”

Hyderabad: On Wednesday night, a group of men attacked an owner of a restaurant in Hyderabad.

According to the report published in TOI, alleged followers of Corporator RK Puram, Radha Dheeraj Reddy attacked the owner of the Lucky restaurant, Syed Ali Raza.

This incident took place at around 11:45 p.m. at Alkapuri Colony near Nagole when the staff denied serving “Biryani” as the hotel was closed. In the incident, Mr. Raza suffered injuries.

According to the statement of the owner, one of the men claimed that he is the brother of the Corporator.

Describing the incident, Mr. Raza said that after the hotel’s shutter was closed, they entered from the rear entrance and started demanding “Biryani”. When their request was rejected, one of the men started threatening the restaurant owner.

Then supervisor pushed them to leave the restaurant. However, after few minutes, a group of 10 to 12 persons attacked the hotel and injured Raza. They also damaged the restaurant property.

After the attack, restaurant owner also uploaded a video on social media describing the incident.

Talking about the case, LB Nagar Police Inspector, Mr. P Kasi Reddy said that the culprit is not the brother of the Corporator.

Police booked a case under sections 506, 147, 148,352,448,427,324 of IPC. With the help of CCTV footage, police identified attackers and arrested four of them, namely, K Venkatesh Yadav (36), J Srisailam Yadav (30), G Santosh (36) and M Ramulu Yadav (35). The investigation is going on.
