Hyderabad: Sexual assault on minor girls is on the rise in the city with two separate incidents reported the police confirmed.
In one of the incidents, a minor girl became victim to an elderly man around aged 60 years, TOI reports.
The accused had called the victim to his house on the pretext of offering her fruits and allegedly assaulted her the police said today.
The crime came to light when the victim narrated the incident to her mother. The accused has been booked under POCSO Act.
In yet another similar incident, a minor girl was allegedly sexually abused by her alcoholic father, police said.
The victim’s mother approached the police against the drunkard. A case has been filed.
