Hyderabad: unemployed man who kidnapped school children to earn easy money arrested

Hyderabad: Gopalapuram police arrested an abductor who kidnapped school children for ransom.

According to sources, 25-year-old, M Chandrasekhar, R/O RTC colony, tirumalagiri appeared for police sub-inspector exam after completing his graduation in 2015, but failed. During the search for employment he planned to earn easy money by kidnapping school children. To execute his plan he approached Rakesh and Dinesh of Uppal on the pretext of seeking employment. Later he got the mobile numbers of parents of the students studying in St. Mary’s High School, Secunderabad.

On February 13, Chandrasekhar kidnapped two students of St. Mary’s High School, Secunderabad on the pretext of offering tuition to them. He later called their parents and demanded 1.5 lakh as ransom.

Gopalapuram police traced him within 24 hours with the help of mobile phone number and arrested him.
