Hyderabad: Marital dispute turned a mother into a killer of her own children, a crime reported from the city.
A 25-year-old housewife identified as C Saroja married to a taxi driver Bhaskar seven years ago allegedly stabbed her two children Shriya, 5, and Harshavardhan,3 to death using empty beer bottles on Saturday around 2 pm reported Siddipet police, TOI reports.
The accused after the incident boarded a bus to Karimnagar and surrendered before police confessing her crime she committed at her Ganesh Nagar residence in Siddipet.
The Karimnagar police immediately alerted the Siddipet police who reached the location to find two kids in a pool of blood dead with injuries.
“Saroja instead of committing suicide left for Karimnagar. She perhaps changed her mind. She is being brought from Karimnagar to Siddipet to know the details,’’ said deputy superintendent of police Rameshwar.
According to the Police, the marital dispute was the reason behind the killings.
Police registered a case under Section 302 (murder) of the IPC.
