IICC: Arif Mohammed Khan files nomination papers as presidential candidate

New Delhi: Political activities are at a brisk pace at India Islamic Cultural Centre. Former union minister and noted Muslim intellectual and Islamic scholar Arif Mohamed Khan filed nomination papers as the presidential candidate. Present IICC president Sirajuddin Quraishi filed the nomination papers against Arif Mohammed Khan.

Arif Mohammed Khan was accompanied by, former MP Mohammed Adeeb, advocate Ishtiyaq Ahmed Mumbai, Dr Idrees, Yameen Quraishi, Siraj Quraishi, Jamsheed Zaidi, Aslam Khan advocate and a large number of advocates and AMU old boys officials.

The last date to file nomination papers is November 15, while ballot papers will be sent to all the members of India Islamic Cultural on November 30 and will be collected on January 6, 2019. Counting of votes will be done on January 7 after which the results will be announced.

The able personality of Arif Mohammed Khan is acknowledged by Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
