The Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India invites applications from students pursuing graduation and post graduation courses in natural or basic sciences for INSPIRE (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
To be eligible for the scholarship, an applicant must -Be among top 1% of students in terms of aggregate marks in his/her Class 12 examination. Be pursuing a graduation or post graduation course in Natural or Basic Sciences (BSc., BSc (Hons.), MSc., MSc (Hons.))Be among top 1000 rankers in JEE of AIPMT/IIT exams and pursuing courses in Natural and Basic Science.
(If applicable)Be enrolled in BSc/BS and MSc/MS with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Biology, Astrophysics, Geology, Astronomy, Botany, Electronics, Biochemistry, Zoology, Microbiology, Anthropology, Geochemistry, Geophysics, Oceanic Sciences and Atmospheric Sciences.
