Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has stated that he expected promotion for Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreya in the recent reshuffling of Union Cabinet, but surprisingly he lost his existing Labour Minister post.
Addressing the gathering at Alai-Balai program organized by Bandaru Dattatreya at Exhibition Grounds here on Sunday, VH alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi removed BCs from Union Ministry and replaced with upper caste MPs. “I thought Modi could give top priority to BCs, but he did in reverse. BCs are in pain with Modi’s action in reshuffling his Cabinet”, he lamented. (NSS)
