Israeli troops shot dead young Palestinian protesting against Trump’s Jerusalem move

West Bank: Israeli troops shot dead one more young Palestinian who was protesting against Trump’s Jerusalem move. This incident took place on internationally recognized Palestinian land, West Bank.

According to the reports, Israeli troops killed Palestinian man at Beit El military checkpoint, around 15 km north of Jerusalem. They alleged that the man was trying to attack them with a knife.

It may be mentioned that even after recognizing West Bank as legitimate Palestinian land, Israeli military set up checkpoints in the area.

On Friday, thousands of people took part in fresh protests held across the world. In Palestine, Protests were held in Gaza strip, Ramallah, Bethlehem and other places. Protest rallies against Trump’s decision were also held in Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia, Tokyo, capital of Japan.

Earlier, Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) also declared East Jerusalem the capital of Palestine. Reacting to it, Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel said that truth will win. He also said that many countries will recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
