New Delhi: Former JNU students’ leader, Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar is contesting as the CPI candidate from the Begusarai Lok Sabha seat in Bihar.
He had launched a crowdfunding campaign in partnership with OurDemocracy, a platform to collect money to contest the elections.
Many persons have extended their support by contributing online.
On the other hand, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has field Mr. Tanweer Hasan from the Begusarai Parliamentary constituency.

When a question, “Kanhaiya Kumar or Tanweer Hasan” was asked, almost all Muslims said Kanhaiya Kumar.
Citing the reason for their support for the former JNU Students’ leader, they said that as he came from a poor background, they will resolve the issues being faced by poor people.
It may be mentioned that in Begusarai, BJP had fielded Mr. Giriraj Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

Before casting vote in the General Elections, voters should ask themselves a question, “Hut wala or Coat Wala?” as the one who comes from a poor background can only understand the poverty and tries to find the solution of it. He can be the real “Chowkidar” of the poor.
