Kasganj: It has been revealed that wife of Nasruddin who is in jail in connection with the riots occurred on January 26 on the occasion of republic day, during which one Chandan Gupta was shot dead, died of trauma. Nasruddin and his son Akram were brought to the graveyard at the time of burial under police security and later sent to jail under strict security arrangements.
According to relatives Haseen Babu (60) was in grief-stricken since her innocent husband Nasruddin and son Akram were arrested on the charges of violence and killing of Chandan. Her condition deteriorated day by day and she went into the coma. She was shifted to Aligarh medical college for treatment where she died on Friday while undergoing treatment. Her body was shifted to Mohalla Nawab at Kasganj.
Jail authorities were informed about her death, on which they gave Nasruddin and Akram 2-hour time to attend the burial of Haseen Banu.
