KCR not giving Saroornagar Stadium for Kodandaram’s meeting, We will approach High court: VH

Demanding that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao give permission to Prof. Kodandaram’s Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) foundation meeting, Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao has questioned the former as to why the government was not sparing stadiums to Kodandaram’s meeting when the same government was renting stadiums to cinema people. He warned the State government of a “tsunami” if the government failed to accord permission to Kodandaram’s meeting.

Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, VH informed that they would approach the High Court seeking permission for Kodandaram’s proposed meeting of party formation. He said they would file a petition in Court in the name of party chief Ambati Srinivas. He said they have applied for permission to conduct a meeting at Saroor Nagar Stadium or NTR Stadium on April 29. VH also informed that the police have rejected their application stating that a meeting at Saroor Nagar Stadium would not be allowed and at the same time the Ranga Reddy district Collector too rejected their application. He said they plead with the High Court to direct the government to give permission for Kodandaram’s meeting at the LB Stadium or at the Nizam College. (NSS)
