Hyderabad: Founder President of Telangana Jana Samithi, Prof. Kodandaram is likely to contest Jangaon Assembly seat. There is a heavy pressure on him from the local leaders saying that it is very near from the State Headquarters. There is a large number of farmers, women and unemployed youths in the area. Hence, it would be a suitable place for Prof. Kodandaram to contest. From political point of view, Jangaon is presumed as a strong base for Telangana Movement.
It may be mentioned that Prof. Kodandaram transformed TJAC into a political party and named it Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) on 2nd April this year. Leaders of important political parties also prefer to join this newly formed political organization. An important leader of TJS hoped that the voters are likely to support this party.
