Land survey to help farmers: Harish Rao

Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said that Land Survey taken up by the government is to resolve the problems pertaining to the lands of the farmers.

Speaking to media persons at Siddipet,  the minister said that the land cleansing measures by official teams will get comprehensive details of the lands and assets in villages and districts. He rubbished  the comments of the opposition parties that the committees are helping only the TRS leaders and activists and dumping others. The minister expressed anguish at the opposition for frequently coming in the way of every scheme of the government. Their efforts to stall the  growth will not get fructified,  he stated. Farmer Coordination committees will strengthen the farming community in the rural areas to get better price to agricultural produce, he said.

Harish slammed that the opposition parties made futile efforts against these committees as the farmers and people are favouring them. The committees will help the farmers to be united and benefit in future. The Government’s aim is to get complete information of the lands and properties which will be made online, he said.(NSS)
