LS Polls: Suspicious secret ‘black Trunk’ spotted in PM’s chopper

New Delhi: Suspicious over ‘black trunk’ being carried inside PM Modi’s chopper during his rally visit to Chitraguda last week, the Opposition party has filed a complaint with the Election Commission to investigate the same.

The Congress party is now demanding a thorough probe into the incident and the suspicious black trunk that was taken out from the chopper and carried in a private car and asked Modi to come clean said party spokesperson Anand Sharma, Indian Express reports.

Sharma alleged the pictures show three more choppers escorting the prime minister’s helicopter. After landing, a black trunk was taken out and whisked away in a private car which was not part of the SPG cavalcade.

The video of the incident was shared on Saturday by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president Dinesh Gundu Rao which shows two people from Modi’s security detail off-loading a trunk from his helicopter and then placing it into an SUV.

“A mysterious box was unloaded from PM Modi’s helicopter at Chitradurga and loaded into a private Innova which quickly sped away. The Election Commission should inquire into what was in the box and to whom the vehicle belonged” Rao tweeted tagging the Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).

Meanwhile, Modi attacked opposition for demanding proof of Balakot strikes in the Chitradurga rally.
