New Delhi: Justice-loving people along with Mayo community are very furious over the lynching of a 28-year-old Haryana resident Akbar Khan, a Mayo Muslim. They decided not to bury the body unless Rajasthan government gives concrete assurance or announcement. After the decision, thousands of people from the Mayo community along with the authorities of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind and local political and social workers gathered on the highway at the Rajasthan-Haryana border and halted the traffic.

Later DSP of Firozpur reached the spot and tried to assure legal action against the culprits.

Akbar Khan’s father Mohammed Sulaiman (80) demanded the arrest of the killers and stringent action against them.
