Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali has directed strict action against the people responsible for destruction of Waqf properties. He said detailed enquiry will be made into the case of issuance of fake NOC to prove Waqf land as non-Waqf.
Expressing displeasure upon such activities in Board, Mohammed Mahmood Ali said while the government on one side is taking measures for protection of Waqf properties, the Waqf mafia and some unscrupulous elements in the Board on the other side are contributing in destruction of Waqf properties.
Deputy Chief Minister informed that chief minister has directed all the district collectors to undertake land survey to ensure protection of Waqf land. He said the fake NOC case came to light thanks to the land survey carried out by the government. Government is ready to provide every possible support to the Waqf Board in this connection.
