New Delhi: Local railway police apprehended 6 maulvis and 87 boys in suspicion that the children were being “trafficked” out of the state. The maulvis were taking the children to admit them in madrasas. They were detained for interrogation. This has created restlessness among Muslims.

Noted scholar and MP Maulana Asrarul Haq Qasmi in a press note stated that police action and making the children and teachers hostages like criminals was uncalled for.

The children themselves told that they were going to receive the education then the matter had become clear they should have freed. They were held for no reason giving them mental torture. Keeping in view the current situation he also advised teachers to keep with them a written consent from the parents’ of the children if they are taking the children on a long journey.
