New Delhi: Expressing concern over government’s failure to stop mob lynching, Shahi Imam Masjid Fatehpur Delhi, Maulana Dr Mufti Mohammed Mukarram Ahmed said it is not an accidental case. Communal elements are involved in mob lynching in a planned way. If such is the case then nothing is more unfortunate for the country than this. Rise in mob lynching incidents despite the Supreme Court’s clear instructions is surprising. He said the government should control the situation.
Maulana Dr Mufti Mohammed Mukarram Ahmed told this during Friday sermon. He exhorted Muslims to follow teachings of Islam and lead a life in the light of Quran and Sunnah so that they can get Allah’s help. He urged Muslims not to do a thing which can help others to unite against us. Regarding NRC draft he hoped that Indian citizens and Muslims will get justice.
